VP of Startup Ecosystem | Oracle
Jason Williamson is the VP of the Startup Ecosystem at Oracle. He leads Oracle’s collaboration with the VC and PE communities and their portfolio companies around the globe. Prior to Oracle, Jason was at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he created and led several key initiatives within the investment community including Amazon’s Private Equity Program and Management Consulting efforts. He has a background in both Fortune 500 firms (Amazon, Capital One, GE) and the startup world. Among his startup efforts, he co-founded the construction industry’s first CRM SaaS offering, a faith-based NGO for entrepreneurial development based in Latin America, and is currently launching a company in the pediatric healthcare space. In addition to his work in the commercial sector, Jason served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and now works part-time in academia in the home state of North Carolina. He has authored three books on Data Integration and Migration and Big Data. Jason also served his country as a United States Marine and lives in North Carolina with his wife and four children where he coaches High School Girls Basketball, drinks sweat tea and eats bbq as much as possible.
