Bio

Joaquim Nascimento is co-author of 'Como usar a IA para criar uma Startup em 30 dias (Edit'AI, 2026)', a method that treats AI as a decision tool rather than a building tool. He is CEO of Kapisci a US start-up and co-founder of PhorecastAI, both AI platforms for biopharma strategy, and President of Algarve Evolution, the leading innovation ecosystem in southern Portugal. He spent 17 years at Vanguard Strategy and six at AstraZeneca before returning to Portugal, and now teaches Digital Businesses at the University of Algarve. He founded the Algarve AI Community and holds Stanford's AI in Healthcare specialisation.
